A unique exhibition of Pyotr Ossovskiy’s paintings named “Izborsk Chamber of Russian Language and Orthodox Faith” was opened in Izborsk in dedication to 1150th anniversary of the town’s first mention in Russian chronicles. It is an enormous large scale work which impresses with the depth of its patriotism. “I have been long looking for my Russia and have found it here in Pskov-land” – said Pyotr Pavlovich at the opening of the exhibition.

They are perceived as an appeal to all of us to preserve our feeling to the motherland and our Orthodox faith. And they value greatly the Russian language.
