On July 23 the exhibition of Olga Biantovskaya a graphic artist from St.Petersburg was opened in Izborsk  in merchant Belyanin’s house (Pechorskaya str., 39).

Olga Biantovskaya has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation for over 45 years. She creates drawings, illustrations to classics (both writers and poets) and to fairytales for children, theatre posters. Many of her drawings are dedicated to St.Petersburg where she was born.

Viktor Naumov, Olga Biantovskaya’s son and the keeper of the collection was present at the exhibition. On behalf of his mother and personally Viktor Naumov expressed his gratitude for organizing the exhibition in “such a spiritual, ancient and at the same time modern place as IZborsk”.

After the opening of the exhibition the guests were invited to the concert of piano music “50 Minutes of Romanticism”, performed by a laureate of international contests Nikita Volov.  We are grateful to the musician for this beautiful performance and hope he will return to Izborsk many times in the future.
